NUEVAS CONFERENCIAS
Dear fellow IFTTA Members and Travel and Tourism Lawyers across Europe, The International Forum of Travel and Tourism Advocates (IFTTA) is a worldwide professional organization of travel and tourism law attorneys and experts dealing with travel and tourism law matters from around the world.
In the light of
 increasing international recognition of IFTTA,
increasing convergence of European legal systems,
increasing need of transnational exchange, and
the cooperation between IFTTA and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), that aims to further the at promotion of Travel and Tourism Law knowledge, education and training
we have decided to revive IFTTA's European Section and strengthen ties between current and potential future IFTTA members all across the whole of Europe (not just the EU Member States).
We therefore invite you to join a "jump start" of IFTTA Europe. We would like to make that start by holding an
IFTTA Europe Work-shop
Budapest, Hungary
3-5 April, 2008
This Work-shop will focus on creating a communication structure within IFTTA Europe as well as professional exchange by discussing such issues as:
liability for services locally booked at the resort – who to sue?
fall from the balcony, slip in the shower – personal injury in travel law
cheap fares, no seats – airline advertising in Europe
latest developments in national legislations, recent case-law
The workshop will be conducted in well established IFTTA tradition and atmosphere, giving plenty of opportunity for all present to participate.
Of course there will be opportunity to socialize with colleagues and enjoy the atmosphere of Budapest, an easily accessible Central European capital with great historical, architectural and cultural offerings.

a viajes y a la industria del turismo
El Forum
estimula una estandarización internacional en la regulación
del derecho de viajes y turismo promoviendo investigaciones
en el sector

¿Por quê?
En la
América del Sur y en Brasil, la industria del turismo
presenta grandes dimensiones. Tiendo en cuenta su población
y su territorio, el Brasil es considerado el quinto más
grande del mundo, con alta biodiversidad posee actualmente
53 Parques Nacionales
Con
frecuencia el país es clasificado entre la 8a. y 10a. más
grande economia del mundo. Uno de los vecinos mas cercanos y
de grande extensión territorial es la Argentina, dónde en
2004 el IFTTA realizó la 16a. conferencia y ha creado el "Chapter"
IFTTA Argentina.
